The New Earth Festival, which began in 1974, is held on the fourth weekend in September. With over 600 vendors displaying fine art, crafts, antiques, food and more, you can see why this charming small town draws crowds of more than 80,000 people!  Remember to mark your calendars for this once a year event. Click here for more information.

Food Pantry

Beginning January 7, 2015 the Atlanta Christian Church will open a food pantry.  It will be held in the basement of the church, which is located on Main St. You must have an Atlanta address to be eligible. Hours will be each Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Waste Water Grant

We are excited to announce that the Town of Atlanta has been awarded a $394,838.00 waste water grant through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs! This much needed grant will help fund waste water infrastructure improvements mandated by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
